The World Mourns Amy Winehouse

On the heels of the shocking news of the untimely death of British soul singer and five time Grammy winner Amy Winehouse, her friends, supporters and fans around the world took to web to pay their respects.

British singer & personality Kelly Osbourne tweeted: "@mskellyo i cant even breath right my now im crying so hard i just lost 1 of my best friends. i love you forever Amy & will never forget the real you!"

Stefano Gabbano of Dolce & Gabbana tweeted: "@stephanogabbano Amy Winehouse. RIPx"

CNN Anchor & British journalist Piers Morgan tweeted: "@piersmorgan Such desperately sad news re Amy Winehouse. Supreme natural talent, terrible self-destructive addictive personality. #RIP"

This is an absolutely sad day and we are still in shock. We were gunning for her recovery the most, evident in our piece last month on how we think she could comeback. Let us take this day to remember her for the good: her amazing talent.

Amy Winehouse DEAD at 27

We are in extreme shock over the news that just hit the stweets that British soul singer and five-time grammy winner Amy Winehouse was found dead at her home in London. Reuters broke the news on Twitter at 11:29am saying reports were coming in from Sky News.We must say that if the reports are true, this is a SAD day for the music industry as we have lost an icon. Our prayers and thoughts are with the Winehouse family.

12:40pm TMZ.com reports that Winehouse was found at 4:05am at her Camden flat.

12:50pm The Daily Mail UK reports extensive details around the circumstances of her death.

Dolce & Gabbana Love Twitter

Stephano Gabbana, one half of the fashion dynamic duo Dolce & Gabbana  recently sat down with Vogue London to talk Twitter. He says many times he gets the best advice from his followers. Gabbana talks about how recently a comment made about his sunglasses line caused him to ponder and think about the entire line. Sometimes we all really underestimate how much our icons in fashion or tech or music may be unaware of tweets or posts aimed at them, but they're right there reading them and taking them into consideration. So we urge you to follow your favs on Twitter and give 'em a shoutout. He also says that Domenico Dolce, the other half of his brand, is technologically inept and how he refuses to get on the social media bandwagon. Hilarious, check it out. 

John Galliano For Topshop?

Guess who might be in for a comeback: John Galliano. According to multiple sources including Elle Magazine, word on the stweet is that Topshop's Sir Phillip Green had asked Galliano to design a collection for the British label, while the two attended Kate Moss' wedding last weekend. What a scandal; Galliano is so radioactive right now, who would want to touch him. I guess he still has talent and if I were Galliano and received the offer, I would take it because he is blacklisted from a ton of other places. Time will tell for this one, so keep your eyes peeled. Anne Hathaway Graces Harper's Bazaar

We have marveled over the journey that Anne Hathaway has taken towards becoming a big screen actress. From her innocent starting days on The Princess Diaries, to her grittier role in Havoc, we have watched her evolved throughout the years. As she prepares for the upcoming reboot of Catwoman (following Halle Berry's flop), she graces the cover of Harper's Bazaar in thier August issue. Early photos from the shoot based in London and France have been release showing Anne looking playful and casual. For us, we would have preferred to see Anne sort of come out of her comfort zone and go for more glamorous look as the Harper's way but whatever. Take a look and see what you think. Are you ready for the "Catwoman" reboot? We definitely are. We love to see innocently portrayed actors get some edge.

Where In The World Is Amy Winehouse

It has been ages since we've heard from her. Last we heard, she was completely plastered, bombed her show in Belgrade and ended up canceling the rest of her Europe tour afterwards to 'focus on her recovery'. Fine, but where in the world are you being rehabbed? It can't be in London, cuz thats where you live. Maybe she's headed back to St. Lucia, she went a drug replacement program there for six months in early 2009 and seemed to be on the mend. Or maybe she's back at Tommy Hilfiger's estate on the Grenadine island Mystique, where she first stayed in Summer 2007. Hmm...either way we hope Amy can finally find the light in her recovery this time around. 

Maybe she needs a new love in her life or she should adopt a child or something life changing. We really need some new tunes from you, Amy. We miss hearing you voice and watching all your (coherent) live performances. What's happening to you? At least we are slightly satisfying our anglo-obsession through Adele and Coldplay. Get well soon though Amy!
