Tiffany Green, winner of a BET fan award, got the chance to present the Viewers Choice award. This moment has now made her famous. Her 15 minutes of fame started ticking away last night at the BET awards when she slipped up by first announcing that Chris Brown was the award winner, then Rihanna. People are a buzz and have taken to Twitter to making her name a top trending topic worldwide. There have been tweets of encouragement, saying that she should take the embarrassing moment in stride, and try to garner endorsements for companies like Twix or Southwest that use embarrassment to promote their companies. Questlove from supergroup "The Roots" tweeted:

She should definitely hop on that fame train as soon as she can because her clock is ticking away and only the craftiest and most business savvy can take advantage of these kinds of moments.
So for most of the night we ended up watching the BET awards, which is always known for its over-the-top performances and surprise appearances. First off, they went completely techy, as the presenters used Samsung tablets to announce the winners instead traditional envelopes. Though we were a slightly disappointed in Beyonce's streamed performance from the Glastonbury Festival in England. I guess it isn't a big deal since other award shows have done so in the past but they were quite sneaky with the lead up.
The most ackward moment of the night had to be the presentation of the Viewers Choice Award when the winner was first announced to be Chris Brown, and then Rihanna, and then eventually Chris Brown. It was also visibly ackward moment for the lucky fan who was selectedto announce the award as per tradition. The host, funny-man Kevin Hart did a great job of clearing the air by bringing Brown onstage. Out of all the nominees, it was troubled pop star who took home four awards, the most for the night. Wouldn't it be even more ackward if Rihanna was there and they bumped into each other? Funny the way the universe works things out sometimes. Did you enjoy the show?
