On the heels of the shocking news of the untimely death of British soul singer and five time Grammy winner Amy Winehouse, her friends, supporters and fans around the world took to web to pay their respects.

British singer & personality Kelly Osbourne tweeted: "@mskellyo i cant even breath right my now im crying so hard i just lost 1 of my best friends. i love you forever Amy & will never forget the real you!"

Stefano Gabbano of Dolce & Gabbana tweeted: "@stephanogabbano Amy Winehouse. RIPx"

CNN Anchor & British journalist Piers Morgan tweeted: "@piersmorgan Such desperately sad news re Amy Winehouse. Supreme natural talent, terrible self-destructive addictive personality. #RIP"

This is an absolutely sad day and we are still in shock. We were gunning for her recovery the most, evident in our piece last month on how we think she could comeback. Let us take this day to remember her for the good: her amazing talent.

Amy Winehouse DEAD at 27

We are in extreme shock over the news that just hit the stweets that British soul singer and five-time grammy winner Amy Winehouse was found dead at her home in London. Reuters broke the news on Twitter at 11:29am saying reports were coming in from Sky News.We must say that if the reports are true, this is a SAD day for the music industry as we have lost an icon. Our prayers and thoughts are with the Winehouse family.

12:40pm TMZ.com reports that Winehouse was found at 4:05am at her Camden flat.

12:50pm The Daily Mail UK reports extensive details around the circumstances of her death.

We are very excited for the upcoming collaborative album to be released in less than a week on August 1.

Its a raw interpretation inside the making of this album as we get an inside look into the creative process of making the album, but also we see personal side of Jay-Z and Kanye. Most important we get a picture of the brotherly bond between them and how much Jay is really gunning for Kanye. Of course, you'll catch a glimpse of Beyonce during the video. The minidoc is just very tastefully directed, you can tell it has Kanye's flair.

JLo & Marc Anthony Call It Quits

We are in absolute shock over this news! When it finally seemed that JLo had gotten things right, settled down, got married (for the third time) and even had two gorgeous kids that everyone thought they would last. I guess nothing lasts forever as JLo announced on Friday in a statement to People Magazine:

"We have decided to end our marriage. This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters."

This is so unexpected! After seven years of marriage, they looked so happy even as they attended red carpets together up to late last month. On Friday the stweets were abuzz with the news as it was worldwide trending topic on Twitter. Check out this video of the couple back in May at Marc Anthony's amazing performance of Hector Lavoe's Aguanile at American Idol. The chemistry between them was just electric. What do you think about the breakup? Is everyone doomed or does she just have problems finding the right one?

Emma Watson Does Letterman Show

In honor of the final release of Harry Potter this weekend, we are focusing on its stars. Here's Emma Watson, who plays Hermoine Granger in HP7 on her way to an appearance at the David Letterman Show. It was reported that Dave grilled her about the speculated drinking problems with the cast. At first she was slightly modest with her answers but afterwards she caved in, admitted to "getting way to drunk once" and bowed for the audience to applause. Dave Letterman can such a sleeze sometimes, gross. So anyways we think she looks gorgeous in this silver sparkly Balmain dress. Nice. 

Who is Matthew Lewis?

So with this weekend's final release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the stweets are buzzing about the stars of the flick and how they have grown up throughout the course of the series. Many of them started out at either age 10 or 11 and now they are young adults at ages 21 or 22. But as I'm getting all this buzz I realize I keep hearing this unfamiliar name Matthew Lewis. I look at pictures and I'm wondering who this guy is. 
If I didn't do my research, I wouldn't even realize that this guy has been playing Neville Longbottom on the HP series for the past ten years. Can you believe that? That's Neville! This has to be the most dramatic transformation we've seen in this series. As compared to how we remember him as a plump kid with crooked teeth. Man, so forget everyone else and keep your eye on this one. You heard it here. 

Weekend Must-See: HP7 Part 2

Glorious Friday has arrived and we hope you have a restful and enjoyable weekend ahead. To get you in gear for a tip-top weekend we are recommending that you go and see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. Its truly the end of an era for many people, who have read the books and watched the movies. Its amazing how much the cast has grown up. Aside from the typical buzz about Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint, the stweets are a buzz about Tom Felton, who plays Draco Malfoy and Matthew Lewis, who plays Neville Longbottom and has no-doubt had the most drastic transformation in the series. He's got way more edge. So go see see this weekend and have fun.

Kanye Snapped In Paris

Despite all the blabber about how much of a douche he may be, we think Kanye represents the quintessential style of a man. He experiments with different colors, fabrics, patterns and trends, clearly isn't limited by insecurities, and freely expresses himself well through fashion.

Vogue Paris snapped West on the streets of Paris on his way to a Lanvin show. We love this pastel light pink short sleeve shirt with the cuffed sleeves, very modern and very casual for Paris. We love the open top two buttons and the neck accessories. Hey, I guess a big ego comes with an amazing fashion sense. Kudos. 

Hacking Supergroup Prompts At Comeback

Is Lulzsec making a comeback? On early Wednesday, the infamous hacking group responsible for hacking the CIA, Homeland Security, the Brazilian government and PBS among others, posted this mysterious tweet:

"@LulzSec The Lulz Boat is on holiday across mysterious shores, but we have a lovely surprise for you in the future. But first, follow @pastebin!"

Pastebin is the online web app that they often used to their public declarations. One of their followers promptly reported that following the tweet, Pastebin gained 40 extra followers every 3 seconds. But forget that, I wonder what the hell kind of surprise they're cracking up? This is a new level of security threat. These guys are nuts!

At 8:36am - "If @pastebin reaches 75,000 followers we'll engage in a mystery operation that will cause mayhem."

Dolce & Gabbana Love Twitter

Stephano Gabbana, one half of the fashion dynamic duo Dolce & Gabbana  recently sat down with Vogue London to talk Twitter. He says many times he gets the best advice from his followers. Gabbana talks about how recently a comment made about his sunglasses line caused him to ponder and think about the entire line. Sometimes we all really underestimate how much our icons in fashion or tech or music may be unaware of tweets or posts aimed at them, but they're right there reading them and taking them into consideration. So we urge you to follow your favs on Twitter and give 'em a shoutout. He also says that Domenico Dolce, the other half of his brand, is technologically inept and how he refuses to get on the social media bandwagon. Hilarious, check it out. 

Someone Stole Lady Gaga's Outfit

Remember this get-up? This is one of many costumes Lady Gaga donned at the Much Music Video Awards in Toronto last month. According to Gaga, she has 'cursed' the person who has stolen her outfit in this hilarious tweet:

Google+ May Be Close to 10 Million Users

You must have heard about the new social media platform released by the good folks at Google called Google+. According social media superblogger Mashable, a new report estimates the current number of users at 10 million, making it one of the fastest growing social media platforms of all time. This new report uses US census data and matches it with surnames of current account holder to calculate a number. Have you tried it out yet? We have and many people have compared it to arriving to a party early, so its roomy and comfortable and casual, not crowded and noisy. That's the exact impression we've got and we don't mind that. Its also Google and in true fashion, they've carried over a simplistic design, super fast photo loading times, like really super fast. It might have taken Google a while but we think this might be it.

Harry Potter Star To Pursue UK Rap Career

Tom Felton, who plays infamous villain Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter series has indicated in his latest interview that now he intends to focus on pursing a music career in Rap in addition to his flourishing acting career. Thats right, Rap as in hardcore, gangsta Rap music. He told the UK's Sun that "I am looking to get into the grime rap UK scene."

Even though this is quite a surprise, Felton has been quite active with music in the past by uploading his personal collection of recorded songs to his Youtube page. Maybe he can tune some of the passion used in his villainous role in Harry Potter to his newly found musical endeavors. We wish Tom all the best in the UK Rap scene!

Kate Middleton Dazzles In LA

Kate Middleton looked gorgeous as she stepped onto the red carpet at the BAFTA's 42 to watch honoring up and coming british actors. Kate is wearing a lilac organza Alexander Mcqueen gown with Jimmy Choo shoes and jewels from the family treasure trove. She is absolutely gorgeous and we can say that she officially satisfied our fashion palate. Forget the re-worn dresses or cheesy cowboy outfits, this is glam and gorgeous. Cheers Kate. 

John Galliano For Topshop?

Guess who might be in for a comeback: John Galliano. According to multiple sources including Elle Magazine, word on the stweet is that Topshop's Sir Phillip Green had asked Galliano to design a collection for the British label, while the two attended Kate Moss' wedding last weekend. What a scandal; Galliano is so radioactive right now, who would want to touch him. I guess he still has talent and if I were Galliano and received the offer, I would take it because he is blacklisted from a ton of other places. Time will tell for this one, so keep your eyes peeled. Entourage Season 8 Trailer

HBO series Entourage has released the extended version of the trailer for the show's last season. The show's music producer posted a tweet about the extended trailer that was later retweeted by the show's star Adrian Grenier. Shouting out other stars of the show including Jeremy Piven, Jerry Ferrara and Emmanuelle Chriqui, the post read:

Now this is the Kate that everyone loves to gaggle over! Now she and her prince are off to Los Angeles to see the stars. Of course this is the second time Kate chose Jenny Packham, if you remember this first gorgeous dress. Casey Anthony Found Not Guilty for Murder

What a shocker! We cannot believe this troubled and deranged woman was found not guilty of the murder of her innocent child Caylee Anthony in Florida at around 1pm EST. This sense of disbelief is everywhere are people are tweeting and posting their shock at the outcome. Speaking to most people, you would hear that they agree Casey definitely had something do with her daughter's death but not completely sure to what extent. This is absolutely shocking and I think by no means does this mean that things are over for Casey. Her family structure is totally destroyed because of this trial after sexual assault allegations against her father and brother. There is no way that things can return back to normal for Casey. Even though she was acquitted for 1st degree murder, aggravated child abuse and even aggravated manslaughter (seriously?! come on), she was found guilty for providing information to a law enforcement officer. This is absolutely ridiculous! She is definitely the OJ Simpson of the younger generation, as we will never forget this classic court case. What an outcome. If you were on this jury, how would you find?

Beyonce for Vogue Italy

Beyonce graces the cover of next month's Italian Vogue and some early shots have leaked on the stweets. Check out the rest of the pics on Coco & Creme. After watching her interesting documentary, we are even more intrigued with her.We think the pictures were very tastefully taken and very elegant. 

Justin Bieber Vanity Fair Issue 'Worst Selling'

Oh yes #beliebers! You might rule on Twitter but not everywhere else. We just heard the amazing news that Justin Bieber's February issue of Vanity Fair in on track to becoming the worst selling issue in 12 years. So far, the issue has only pushed 246,00 copies, which isn't the worst number in the history of mag. In July 1999, Will Smith appeared on the cover, country-western themed according to his then upcoming role in Wild Wild West. That cover sold a meager 202,701 copies. Coming a close second to this is Harrison Ford's July 1993 cover which sold around 243,000. It makes total sense though, who is Justin Bieber's target market and who is Vanity Fair's target market? Exactly! They are totally different. I'm sure they'll never make this kind of mistake again.   

China Wants A Piece of Facebook

Suprise, surprise; China just wants a piece of everything. On Tuesday Forbes blogger, Gordon Chang reported that Beijing approached an investment fund with particular interest in accumulating a 'formidable' stake in the company. But experts have expressed the little need for concern because the proposed $1 billion dollar investment would not be significant. On the political side of the fence, people need not worry about China's access to Facebook profile as shareholders do not have access and Beijing would purchase non-voting shares, which would make their opinions null and void. Well that doesn't seem so bad. I think Mark Z should hold on tight to all his stock for a couple years, then go public and reap the rewards; without compromising the originality and integrity of the brand. What do you think? We all have Facebook accounts.

Daniel Radcliffe's Battle with Alcohol

Harry Potter star, Daniel Radcliffe recently opened up in an interview with Time Magazine regarding his current battle with alcoholism. In the interview, he admits to becoming dependent on alcohol saying "I became so reliant on alcohol to enjoy stuff". 
The 22-year-old movie star expressed that he had achieved a 'new found freedom' by not having a drop of alcohol in the past two years. He admitted that "I was just so enamored with the idea of living some sort of famous person's lifestyle that really isn't suited to me". Radcliffe believes that without alcohol "I'm really pleasant and I'm not f**k**g up totally all the time." This just proves the fact that movie stars are people too and they have their own share of problems. 

I must say that the interview was very refreshing as the Harry Potter series has portrayed Radcliffe in a rather innocent light. This interview really makes Radcliffe seem real, grown up and ready to transition in a new phase of his life and his career as he not only leave his iconic role in the series behind but a troubled past in alcohol addition. Good stuff & Kudos.

Anne Hathaway Graces Harper's Bazaar

We have marveled over the journey that Anne Hathaway has taken towards becoming a big screen actress. From her innocent starting days on The Princess Diaries, to her grittier role in Havoc, we have watched her evolved throughout the years. As she prepares for the upcoming reboot of Catwoman (following Halle Berry's flop), she graces the cover of Harper's Bazaar in thier August issue. Early photos from the shoot based in London and France have been release showing Anne looking playful and casual. For us, we would have preferred to see Anne sort of come out of her comfort zone and go for more glamorous look as the Harper's way but whatever. Take a look and see what you think. Are you ready for the "Catwoman" reboot? We definitely are. We love to see innocently portrayed actors get some edge.

Hacking Frenzy

These cybercriminals are silent but so deadly. What makes it even worse is that they can make themselves almost untraceable and we are left somewhat at their mercy because they know our technology better than we do. So according to CNN, the word on the stweet is that a hacking group called the 'Script Kiddies' claimed responsibility for hacking Fox News' twitter account and announcing that President Obama had been assassinated while campaigning in Iowa on  early Monday. The tweets then went on to say:

"We wish @joebiden the best of luck as our new President of the United States. In such a time of madness, there's light at the end of tunnel." 

Its not surprising since they know the inner workings, the flaws and the strong suits, they also know typical consumer behavior, which is a deadly combo. After the hacking frenzy seemed to stop Fox news posted a short tweet saying. 

"Just regained full access to our Twitter and email. Happy 4th."

Things are going to get even worse as our lives become more technology oriented then we can hypothesize what comes next: our bank accounts? Anyone looking for a career or a career change? I'm sure cyber security is big business right now. 

Where In The World Is Amy Winehouse

It has been ages since we've heard from her. Last we heard, she was completely plastered, bombed her show in Belgrade and ended up canceling the rest of her Europe tour afterwards to 'focus on her recovery'. Fine, but where in the world are you being rehabbed? It can't be in London, cuz thats where you live. Maybe she's headed back to St. Lucia, she went a drug replacement program there for six months in early 2009 and seemed to be on the mend. Or maybe she's back at Tommy Hilfiger's estate on the Grenadine island Mystique, where she first stayed in Summer 2007. Hmm...either way we hope Amy can finally find the light in her recovery this time around. 

Maybe she needs a new love in her life or she should adopt a child or something life changing. We really need some new tunes from you, Amy. We miss hearing you voice and watching all your (coherent) live performances. What's happening to you? At least we are slightly satisfying our anglo-obsession through Adele and Coldplay. Get well soon though Amy! 

Myspace Revival?

Can Justin Timberlake really do it? The stweets are a buzz with news that the popstar joined forces with a California firm and purchased Rupert Murdoch's stake in Myspace on Friday for $35 million (previously valued at $560 million, ouch). The word on the stweet is that JT plans to hold a talent search sometime in the fall to revitalize the site.
You know on Wednesday a few days before this new broke, I randomly thought about Myspace and went to the site. It didn't look like how I remembered it four or five years ago; its definitely revamped and more organized. Though it does seem to be geared more towards musicians, actors, movies and TV series which makes sense. If I was JT and team, I would use that aspect of Myspace, revamp, develop it further and exploit the hell out of it. What do you think? Would you buy into this new Myspace? Take a look and see.

Remember Now by Karl Lagerfeld

So Karl is an absolute genius as the Creative Director for Chanel and at the helm  of Fendi and his self titled label. In the last few years, he has created small films which are filled with beautiful women, mysterious storylines and intrigue. So here is the two-part mini documentary called Remember Now. Its based in Saint Tropez and all the main characters are dressed in Chanel. Its pretty cool check it out; we love short films because they are that, short and sweet.

We love the mystery and intent of the characters throughout the film and how well its flows. Its also very cool to see what's going on inside Karl's head because he has such a big impact on Fashion.

Elle Fanning The New Face of Marc Jacobs

Breakthrough actress and little sister of Dakota, Elle Fanning is the new face of Marc by Marc Jacobs. You can catch her in the latest Spielberg & JJ Abrams flick Super 8. 

She looks so much like her sister in these photos, and she's clearly taken on her acting skills. Keep your eye on this one, we love seeing celeb siblings out there. The apple never falls far from the tree. Big sister Dakota is also repping Marc Jacobs as the face of his new scent Oh Lola.

Beyonce "The Year of 4"

First off, we love love love when musicians or actors do mini-documentaries because it gives us such a fresh perspective and personal look into their lives and creative process, but also it reminds you that they are regular human beings. In this mini-doc Beyonce talks about the year she took off to make her new album and how important it was for her to take a break, the challenges she faced and what she learned the most. 



What we loved the most is that we got to see a personal side of Beyonce, which I don't think we've seen since her Destiny's Child days. She works really hard on this album and she took an amazing amount of creative control this time around. Very Nice.

Mary Kate and Ashley Launch StyleMint

Mary Kate & Ashley have no doubt been fashion stalwarts, which is why its no surprise they have launched their own fashion-centered venture called StyleMint. The concept is interesting; so members join, pay a monthly fee and fill out a personal style preference. Then twins will design and send you one t-shirt per month according to your style profile. Seems like a nifty business concept however it would have been nicer to see the range of clothing rather than just t-shirts. Also I'm not getting the best feel for their target market since they typically market to tweens. Is this something you would buy into? British supermodel Kate Moss tied the knot this weekend with The Kills frontman Jamie Hince in a lavish three day ceremony. This vintage form fitting cream dress was designed by close friend and disgraced fashion designer John Galliano, as we reported earlier this week. Kate Middleton's Canada Day Style

Newlyweds Prince William and Kate Middleton stepped out on the second day of their North American tour for Canada Day Celebrations in Ottawa. This national holiday in Canada is the same day of what would also be the 50th birthday of Prince William's late mother Princess Diana. So what do you think about Kate's Canada Day outfit. Its a little cliche with the white and the awful shade of maple leaf red. But I guess its suitable to pay homage to Canada. The dress is apparently the same dress she wore for her engagement portrait shot back in October, accessorized with a borrowed broach from Queen Elizabeth, some red clutch in the shape of a fan. Frankly, Kate needs to be more aggressive with her fashion and never double dip, the ultimate fashion no-no.
