So this guy, a mobile-app consultant based in Rhode Island, Jonathan Stark is giving away free Starbucks as a social experiment. Isn't that crazy but ingenius...so you wonder how it works? You download the picture of the barcode on the back of his Starbucks card (here) onto your smartphone, head over to your nearest spot, choose from the Starbucks selection and show the barcode to the cashier. What a cool experiment. You can also add money to the card and people have been. Apparently since he started this endeavor last month he's received $9,000 in anonymous donations. What a cool way to be generous, times are tough these days.
