Prada Goes Pubic, Worth $12 billion

Fashion house Prada has made its official debut onto the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Forbes Magazine retweeted a related post by their blogger Claire O'Connor. According to Forbes, founder and designer Miuccia Prada and husband Patrizio Bertelli (photographed above) each own 1/3 of the company bringing the approximate total valuation of Prada's shares to over $12 billion. This financial move is suggested to help her return to the Forbes 400 List of Wealthiest Persons, which she has been absent since 2007.
